Stripping and waxing (finishing) floors involves removing the old wax with a stripping machine and stripper, and then applying multiple layers (coats) of wax onto the floors. We remove the old wax right back to the original floor, to the best of our ability. This gives you the ultimate protection for your floors. Applying a wax or finish to a floor creates a glossy, protective layer that keeps your floor attractive and free from scratches and stains. However, over time, these layers wear down or become dirty and need to be removed before new layers can be applied. We recommend that you conduct a strip and wax process every year in low-traffic areas and every six months for high-traffic areas.
